Introduction
The International Relations & Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD) is an independent, non-partisan, and not for profit sharing think tank based in Kathmandu, Nepal, dedicated to advancing research, dialogue, and training in the fields of international relations and diplomacy.
Founded in 2025 by Former Ambassador Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, IRGDD was established with a vision to create a dynamic platform that strengthens cross-border collaboration, fosters multi-level partnerships, and promotes strategic diplomacy as a pragmatic tool to address global challenges.
IRGDD integrates diverse expertise, strategic policy analysis, real-world diplomatic experience, academic insight, and public affairs understanding to develop impactful, actionable solutions to contemporary international issues. Guided by a commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), IRGDD seeks to foster international cooperation and build a world where prosperity, equality, and justice thrive for all.
The organization is dedicated to advancing constructive international engagement through high-quality, interdisciplinary research and inclusive policy dialogue. It provides strategic advisory services and implements capacity-building programs for government officials, professionals, and students. IRGDD also actively collaborates with national and international partners including ministries, think tanks, and civil society organizations to co-create solutions to the contemporary global challenges.
