On August 12, 2025, Kathmandu, the International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD) hosted a meeting with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce to explore opportunities for mutual growth in trade, investment, tourism, cultural diplomacy, education, and the digital economy. IRGDD President Amb. Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal met with Chamber Director-General Inmaculada Riera i Reñé, joined by IRGDD representatives Amb. Kali Prasad Pokhrel and Bimal Dhakal. Both sides emphasized strengthening bilateral collaboration through knowledge exchange, business facilitation, and strategic partnerships to benefit Nepal–Spain relations.
